Registration is Open for April 10, 2011 HEAL Zoo Walk!
HEAL is excited to announce that Sunday, April 10, 2011 is the date of our next HEAL Zoo Walk for Autism. Register now for the fantastic family outing. This event is a fun way to see the Zoo, meet other families affected by Autism, and support Autism Programs in Northeast Florida.
2011 will be the best Zoo Walk ever! This year we will end at the Great Lawn across from the Children’s Play Area. HEAL will have fun, music and games at there to greet you and your family!
Registration opens at 7:30am and the walk begins at 8:30am. The Great Lawn activities are open from 9-noon. This is a day you won't want to miss!
Last year’s event had over 1,000 participants converged at the Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens for the HEAL Zoo Walk for Autism. Several NFL Jaguar Football Players and the Roar Cheerleaders led the way through the Zoo. Radio Disney was at the finish line with games and music to welcome the crowd!
Thanks to everyone who participated, volunteered and donated to the 2010 HEAL Zoo Walk. Proceeds from the Zoo Walk directly benefit Autism programs, therapists, teachers and classrooms in public and private schools in the Greater Jacksonville Area. HEAL is being proactive in raising funds which will help supplement the loss to greatly needed Autism programs.
