Humane Society of Harford County

Sorry, no fundraising available
The Humane Society of Harford County’s Bowl-a-Rama is a fun, family-oriented bowling event that benefits the homeless and abused animals of Harford County. Whether by yourself, a duo, a trio, or a team of four, bowl to help the animals on Saturday, February 19, 2011 from 3:00-6:30pm at Forest Hill Lanes, One Maurice Drive, Forest Hill, MD. Pledges to support the animals should be gathered beforehand and brought with you on the day of the event.

Each bowler pays a pre-registration fee of $15 by Monday, February 14th in order to bowl. Registration at the door is $20. The registration fee will help to pay for your lane rental and bowling shoes.

To pre-register, visit www.harfordshelter.org/bowlarama by February 14th and follow the links to complete the registration form and pay the $15 per person pre-registration fee with your credit card—or call 410-836-1090, x101 to pay over the phone.

Each lane will have 4 bowlers, so if you have less than 4 players, you will be paired with other bowlers. If you wish to compete against another team, please call 410-836-1090, x101 so we can assign lanes accordingly.

For every $50 you raise in pledges, you get 2 raffle tickets for a chance to win wonderful prizes. Raffle tickets will also be available for purchase at the Bowl-a-Rama. Tickets are $3 each or two for $5.

About the Humane Society of Harford County

The Humane Society of Harford County, Inc., located in Fallston, Maryland, is a non-profit, open-admission animal support organization dedicated to providing shelter and care to the homeless, abandoned and abused animals of Harford County. We provide a safe and healthy temporary shelter and seek loving, permanent homes to ensure the long-term welfare of the animals we serve. Through education and advocacy, we promote the humane treatment of companion animals and work toward reducing, and ultimately eliminating, pet overpopulation in the county through low-cost spay and neuter programs. We have welcomed more than 300,000 animals since 1947 and provide service to the community in conjunction with animal control to safeguard public health and safety. We strive to promote the special bond between humans and their companion pets in securing forever homes for our animals.
