Welcome to Humane Society Calumet Area's Fundraising Page
Humane Society Calumet Area (HSCA) has been providing vital services to the Calumet region since 1941. In the past year we have helped more than 1,500 abandoned animals find homes and reunited many lost animals with their families.
HSCA' mission is to lead the community in the humane treatment of animals. Working individually and in partnership with similar valued organizations, we will create a humane community for all animals through education, advocacy, and the promotion of respect and compassion.
HSCA also is very active within the community by providing the following services:
• Estelle Marcus Animal Clinic: Since opening to low-income members of the public in July 2012, the clinic has provided more than 3,100 spay and neuter surgeries to those experiencing financial hardship.
• Pet Therapy Teams: Ourpet therapy team visits nursing homes and assisted living four times a month with puppies.
• Humane Education: Our humane education team helps teach local children about pet safety and compassion.
• Moraine Ridge Wildlife Rehabilitation Center: This recently opened center rehabilitates small orphaned and injured mammals.
