We are aiming to hold our 2012 Build-A-Thon in next fall -- we will update this site with a date and location as soon as they are finalized.  While we are extremely hopeful this event will take place in September or October of 2012, there is always the chance that forces beyond our control will prevent it from being possible.  We are doing our best to make it happen!

Habitat East Bay's annual Build-A-Thon engages hundreds of volunteers in a 4-day blitz build.  Last year we framed 7 houses in 4 days, and this year, we hope to frame even more homes for hard-working East Bay families.

Unlike a normal build day with Habitat, Build-A-Thon participants raise funds in order to participate in the event, as one would for a walk-a-thon.  In this way, participants both fund and build homes in this fun and supportive building event.
