2009 FRIENDS OF HEARTLOVE PLACE ANNUAL FRIEND-RAISING CAMPAIGN!
The Friends of HeartLove Place Campaign is designed to help raise friends and funds to support the valuable work we do in central-city Milwaukee. HeartLove Place provides desperately needed services and programs to impoverished inner-city Milwaukee residents. The people engaged in our programming are families whose income earnings are well below the federal poverty level (most make less than $10,000 per year!) and face daily struggles against crime, addiction, prostitution, domestic abuse, and the like.
HeartLove Place offers quality childcare, an education and job-training program in the booming culinary arts field, a family resource center with parenting programs for parents of all ages, an after-school youth program, and a food service and banquet/catering program providing meals to many organizations. We place priority on support and education, delivering quality programs and services, & maximizing available resources.
But the problems in our city are still huge and growing. So in 2008 we are launching the FRIENDS OF HEARTLOVE PLACE CAMPAIGN to better the lives of the friends who utilize our services.
