The Inner City Handball Association will host the 17th Annual Mayor’s Cup Handball Tournament on July 9 & 10, 2011 at designated handball courts in Manhattan and Brooklyn.

What makes this event special is that it not only shows spectators that we care about our sport but that we care about saving lives.

We need your participation in the Mayor’s Cup to allow us to promote awareness of Leukemia and Lymphoma Blood Cancers. Every year tens of thousands of Americans are living with a form of blood cancer, every 5 minutes someone is diagnosed with a blood cancer and every 10 minutes someone passes away from a blood cancer. Since 2004, the ICHA through proceeds from the Mayor’s Cup has donated a total $35,000.00 the Jim Jacobs Research Fund for Leukemia and Lymphoma Cancer. This year our goal is to donate $5,000.00 or MORE at the finals of the Mayor’s Cup for a total of more than $40,000.00.
