Bruce Organization and Arriba Ya are part of Agenda SOS International.
We are feeding, clothing, healing, and especially educating street kids in Latin America; converting child laborers into students; protecting and healing pregnant teen rape victims; dealing with family violence, promoting woman's rights. We have developed one of the most successful community development poverty eradication programs in ArribaYa.
By helping us you will be enriching the lives of the poorest most abused children and mothers in Latin America.

| My personal message: |
This year we will be sending more than 1,000 children to school - children who are too poor, neglected or abused to have been able to go to school had we not intervened - by the end of March we will have to buy their first uniforms (they need 2 each year), pay their registration fees (for many this means getting them a birth certificate first), their books and school supplies, events fees and transport. This comes to approximately $117 per year for each child. This time last year we had only the children from our original centre in Trujillo, plus the 7 centres we had opened during the previous 12 months. This year we are sending children from our original cente plus 10 new centres we have opened during the year: come see - http://bruceperu.org We have set a target of $80,000 - which is much less than the children will need, but we require that the parents participate as much as possible (because it is important that they value and be involved in their children's education; however poor they are). The children we help are the very poorest in their communities, and we know that it is difficult if not impossible for their parents (usualls single or abandoned mothers) to participate; but as you will see, they do somehow manage. Come see what the mothers of our children in Huaraz are doing: http://volunteerhuaraz.com And so we ask you to either make a donation on this page, or else start your own page - and get others to contribute to this most worthy cause. Thank you so much, The Volunteers of Bruce Organization
