We established this program in 2008 after realizing those who have been touched by pancreatic cancer had a tremendous need to share their stories with friends, family members and others who care deeply about their loved one. In addition to sharing your own story, you provide a memorable place for friends and family to pay tribute, leave heartfelt comments, and support  the fight against pancreatic cancer in your loved one’s name.

Many page creators customize their loved one’s page throughout the year. Many options and opportunities are available to utilize this wonderful site and we welcome everyone to create their own unique page for their loved one.

Below are instructions on how to set up your page:

1.       Click on the big green box that says ‘Fundraise’

2.       Fill out the required fields.

3.       Create your URL. We suggest putting your loved one’s name somewhere it.

4.       Name your page, for example: “Remembering Randy.”

5.       Upload a picture from your desktop/laptop

6.       Write a tribute to your loved one.

7.       Set your fundraising goal and then share your page with your friends and family!

Here are some pointers on customizing your page:

Changing your profile picture:

To change your profile picture, sign in and click edit next to the name of your page. Then click on the blue box that reads “Edit Your Page.” Under your current picture you will see underlined change this image, click on that. A box will pop up and select Upload your own image. Click browse and you should be able to select a photo from your computer. Select your preferred picture and then click ‘Open’. Then finally, select Upload. Click on ‘I am happy with my image,’ and you will be all set.

Adding Pictures (In addition to the profile page):

To add pictures to your page, you first have to create a Flickr account. You can do this at http://www.flickr.com/. Then in order to be able to pull pictures from this account, you must upload at least 6 photos and set them to public.  If you have 6 or more photos but fewer than 6 of them are set as public, that's fine - there just need to be at least 6 in existence.
