Thanks for supporting the National Brain Tumor Foundation in memory of Michael Lewandowski. Your donation will help to make a difference in the fight against brain tumors.
Michael was a son, brother, friend and mentor. He lived most of his life in Colorado and learned to love the outdoors, especially freestyle skiing. Michael was passionate about everything he did, including working with children, mountain biking, cheering on the Denver Broncos, raising his beloved dog, Molly, and living life to its fullest despite serious challenges. Michael never let his seven-year struggle with a brain tumor prevent him from striving to improve his life. Michael lost his battle with brain cancer at age 28 on November 13, 2003, with family by his side. But he thrives in our memories. We remember Michael's smile, his enthusiasm for life, his friendship, his courage in dealing with his illness, his caring for others and the depth of his soul. These things help to shape us. Thanks to Michael, we have gained wisdom, we understand joy, we know love. Whether dancing wildly or catching air on the slopes, we do it all with Michael in mind.
