2012 Duke City Sleep Out

2012 Sleep Out Includes:
* Live bands with performances by Chris David, Aladocious, The Jir Project Band, and Saving Damsels!
* Urban Entertainment - street dancing and grafitti artists
* Lawn Games - kickball, volleyball, relay races
* Midnight Movie Madness
* Stargazing & Storytelling
* Family Fun - facepainting and tie dye stations

Not camping? $25 at the door gets you in for the live music and entertainment!

What to Expect at the Event

Tentative Event Schedule & Suggested Packing List

CHECK IN: 6:00-7:30pm
-All campers must Check in between 6:00-7:30pm on the night of the event.  Any camper under the age of 18 must have a paid adult camping with them.
-At check-in you will get a map, and an assigned numbered camping plot as well as your official Duke City Sleep Out Event T shirt (T shirt for campers who raise at least $100)
-Your plot will be a 10x10 area of personal camping space
-Food and beverages will be available for purchase on site.
-You may bring a personal cooler with snacks and drinks. All coolers will be searched.

FUN: 7-11pm - camping activites

QUIET HOURS: 12am-6am
Event quiet hours are to be observed by all campers

EARLY MORNING: 6-8:00am
Wake up call is at 630am
Continental breakfast from 6:30-7:30am (for campers who raise at least $100)
All campers must depart by 8:00am

SUGGESTED PACKING LIST:
Tent Sleeping bag
Pillow Blankets
Tarps Flashlight/ Headlamp/ Lantern
Clothing layers Water bottle
Toothbrush Toothpaste
Camp Chair Air mattress (if preferred)
Other personal toiletries as needed
Cash to purchase snacks and/or other fun Sleep Out items on-site

Porta potties will be available but bring your own hand sanitizer
No sinks will be available so bring water to brush your teeth

OTHER DETAILS:
Please pack in and pack out your own trash (but waste receptacles will be available)
Team tshirts, banners and other spirit is encouraged!
No outlets or electricity will be available to campers
DCSO is an alcohol and tobacco free event
First Aid will be available on-site for minor injuries
* DCSO is a rain or shine all weather event *
