Calling all Polar Bears...

Winter is here and that means it's time to get ready for the 2012 Polar Bear Plunge.  This annual event co-sponsored by the Asheville Racquet Club features dozens of costume-clad individuals willing to brave the icy waters of the club's outdoor swimming pool to help raise money for Meals On Wheels of Asheville and Buncombe County. 

Are you up to the challenge? Can you "bear" the icy cold plunge?  Do you want to help feed your elderly neighbors?  Are you just crazy enough to do this?  Then click on the REGISTER button above to register today.  You'll also be able to set up your personal 2012 Polar Bear Plunge fundraising page and get your family, friends, coworkers and others to sponsor your jump and help feed a homebound senior.

So grab the family and join us Saturday, February 11, 2012 at the Asheville Racquet Club South (off Hwy. 25).  The jump starts at 11:00 AM.  Warm up with a hot chili lunch after the Plunge!
