for the 2009 Boston Marathon

Team Eye and Ear is Mass. Eye and Ear’s 55-member marthon team participating in the 2009 Boston Marathon on April 20. Runners span over 30 years in age from 24 to 56. They are coming to Boston from 11 states across the country and from as far away as Puerto Rico. Most runners have a personal connection to Mass. Eye and Ear, and they all share an enthusiasm for supporting the hospital’s mission and bringing hope to people everywhere who suffer with conditions affecting sight, hearing, voice and balance. For the fourth year, Team Eye and Ear was made possible thanks to the generosity of John Hancock Financial Services. Team Eye and Ear has a team goal of raising $275,000.
