The National Eating Disorders Association is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting individuals and families affected by eating disorders. There are many ways for you to get involved and help raise awareness in your community.
Community members are currently organizing walks across the country to help increase eating disorder awareness and support NEDA in a fun way. NEDA has recently improved online registration with webpages for each individual walk.

It's time to TALK ABOUT IT...
time to WALK ABOUT IT!
Please Note: Most NEDA walks are now registered on another system. To learn about NEDA Walks, to find one near you, or to organize one in your community go to www.nedawalk.org. You may still create a personal fundraising page to benefit NEDA by clicking the "Get Started" button above.
Support Our Programs
We are committed to providing help and hope to those affected by eating disorders. We work with partners and volunteers to develop programs and tools to help everyone who seeks assistance. We envision a world without eating disorders and believe this is possible with the help of our programs and services. The support of our constituents allows us to make progress in the following ways...
- Provide one-on-one phone support to the nearly 20,000 people per year who call our Helpline to access information, talk to someone about their illness, and get referrals to treatment.
- Strengthen our Parent, Family & Friends Network that offers information and guidance for those struggling with the challenges of a loved one's eating disorder.
- Introduce and champion legislation that improves access to care, increases insurance coverage, funds research, and educates primary care physicians.
