The Oneonta Walk for Kidneys is a day to  raise awareness of kidney disease, its causes and prevention, and the dramatic need for organ donation.  It is also a day to celebrate life and pay tribute to those that make the gift of life possible.

It's a day when the entire community can come out and support those living with kidney disease and those waiting for a life saving transplant.  Did you know that kidney disease affects one out of every nine people?  Chances are that means you or someone close to you!

Consider forming a corporate walk team or sponsoring the event, or grab your friends, family members and neighbors and come out and support those in the community fighting this illness!  100% of the proceeds stay in the local community so you are making a tremendous impact and helping those, right at home, living with this illness!

The day features a fun filled Halloween theme complete with games, prizes, kids activities, entertainment and more!  This is the pefect family outing day, you will be making an impact all while having a goulish good time!

Don't forget to create your FUNdraising pages and shoot for a goal of $200 per person.  The more you raise the bigger the impact you'll make and you'll enjoy some fundraising challenges along the way!
