NetIP has become a premier networking brand in our community over the years. It is the unequivocal voice for an emerging group of South Asians, who excel in every aspect of western society, from business to politics to the arts. The rise of NetIP and its affiliated chapters reflects a general "Coming of Age" by South Asian professionals. We are proud to state that many of our present members and past alumni now hold respected positions of leadership in the private, public, and non-profit sectors all over the world.
Our mission is to be more than just a networking forum. We also aspire to be the facilitating vehicle used by South Asian professionals to improve and enhance the communities in which we work and live. NetIP lays the foundation for the best and brightest to forge cohesive relationships to work together for a lifetime. We are not just today's professionals who are the backbone of NetIP, but we are also simultaneously emerging to be tomorrow's leaders in business, politics and civic life. We will continue to interact closely with many of the acquaintances we make through our experiences within the NetIP organization.
NetIP believes that creating a strong personal bond between our members will strengthen our community across North America, as well as our ties to each other. To that end, NetIP's focus continues into the areas of economic growth and security, cultural awareness and preservation, family needs, and promoting education and learning. As an organization, we continuously persevere to help and give back to our local communities by recruiting experts in areas such as health care, banking, education, finance and technology.
NetIP believes that our members are undeniably our greatest resource. We strive ardently to work with everyone in our local communities to provide a single platform for South Asian professionals to target the many opportunities and challenges that come our way.
Charity is Colorblind (CiC) is NetIP North America’s initiative to raise funds for charitable causes world wide. Each year all NetIP chapters, members, friends and family give wholeheartedly to charity. Not only is charitable giving an emotional giving, it is also one that keeps on giving back. In 2010, NetIP raised over $120,000 for charitable causes such as for cancer research, microfinance, child rights, and education. With your help, this year we hope to increase that substantially.
The CiC initiative seeks to empower all our chapters for grass roots level fundraising. The NetIP family is working hard to make a difference in the lives of many. Join the cause on FirstGiving by signing up to become a fundraiser for the 2012 NetIP Atlanta CiC campaign.
