The School That Sparked A Cultural Movement

Dramatic cultural transformation may start small—with children and a school—but that is only the beginning. New Hope Academy is a school on a mission to set people free. Black, white, rich, or poor, we are limited by our prejudices, our fears, and our lack of resources. And we all have them.

New Hope provides a radical opportunity for relationships to form across racial, economic, and cultural lines within the community—thereby empowering the poor, bringing people together, and cultivating racial reconciliation.

New Hope Academy is a remarkable and inspiring place, one that provides future-shaping, Gospel-centered education to children from low-income families, creating a ripple effect of hope and opportunity far beyond its walls.

Our Mission

New Hope Academy is a Christ-centered community school with an economically, racially, and culturally diverse student body. We exist to serve low-inocme families by establishing a solid Biblical worldview, instilling vision, confirming hope, and preparing each young person for life of service.

Our History

New Hope Academy opened its doors in 1996 when a Williamson County church became the catalyst for lasting change in the low-income neighborhoods of Middle Tennessee. Here, elementary school children and families of all races, economic brackets, and cultures learn, love, and live together in an environment that extends acceptance, hope, and an exceptional faith-based education to every child. To that end, New Hope Academy reserves 50 percent of its seats for low-income children.
