Welcome to Think College Now's 100 Million Word Reading Challenge! TCN's students have been challenged to read 100 million words -- more than 20,000 books! -- by June. If they accomplish this feat, the kids will "make the rules" on the last day of school, with staff relinquishing leadership to the Student Council. As you might imagine, TCN's young leaders have plenty of plans in store for Principal Ruben Olivares and the other school staff!

For five years running, Pacific Union - Montclair has partnered with TCN to help the school fundraise for essential resources. This year, as in 2010, we are supporting the students' mission to read 100 million words. Please join the agents of Pacific Union - Montclair in supporting these young scholars. You can set up a personal fundraising page by clicking the "Want to raise money? Get Started" button on the top of the page and then begin asking for donations.  Pacific Union is taking care of all donation processing fees so 100% of what you donate will go directly to TCN!  

Your donation supports reading on our campus!

• $500 donation buys reading materials for an entire grade (2 classrooms)
• $250 donation buys two class sets of books (50 novels)
• $100 donation buys 20 books for our kindergarden students to read with their parents 
• $50 donation buys 10 chapter books for a fourth-grade classroom
• $25 donation buys 5 books for our library
• $10 donation buys 2 books for our students to read at home
