Help Outright Vermont Make it Better
The Mission of Outright is to build safe, healthy, and supportive environments for gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, queer, and questioning youth (ages 13-22). Your support of our work as a donor or a FIRE TRUCK PULL team member through our FirstGiving page supports our queer youth programs: education & outreach statewide with schools, providing anti-harassment trainings for educators and students, support for 40 Queer/Straight Alliance (QSAs), the Queer & Allied Youth Summit - a networking conferece for students and advisors; the creation of queer youth space at an annual, summer camp for queer youth each August; the VT Queer Youth Pride & Prom; weekly peer-support groups for queer youth in Burlington, Montpelier, and Rutland; and so much more!

QUEER YOUTH SPACE & EVENTS
We have had 1,636 queer youth interactions at our queer youth space in Burlington in just the last year. In addition, we have had hundreds and hundreds of members of the adult queer and allied community turn out to support our mission at our events trhoughout the year.
“As a co-captain for Team Gaga – the second coming, I just wanted to say that we will be back in 2012 to reclaim BOTH our titles of best dressed and most money raised. Oh, it has already been brought!” (Date: September 2011)
– Kate Van Wagner (Former Board Member and Current Volunteer/Donor)
“Outright truly feels like a second home to me. I want to express my gratitude to people who quite honestly have changed my life: Saben, Adam, Melissa, all of the board members, the youth…and anyone involved in donating, founding outright, and who have made Outright possible, I love you and thank you.” (Date: November 2011)
-Shepard L. (youth award winner)
“We are on the Outright VT marathon team supporting because we have three sons who we imperfectly parent and push to take risks and do the right things for their body and minds. We want them to know acceptance for all. To know they are loved no matter what. No matter what their sexual preference is.” (Date: May 2012)
-The Munson-Warnken Parents (Parent allies on our Outright VT Marathon Team)
