Each year, women and men all over the U.S. raise thousands of dollars donated by family and friends in their community for causes related to breast cancer. Quite frequently, they then travel to larger cities across the nation to participate in runs and walks to help find a cure for breast cancer…We are those women.
PATH to the Cure was inspired as a way to subsidize mammograms for women in the Tri-State area who can’t afford them. Our intention is to raise breast cancer awareness and promote health and wellness while fostering an atmosphere of family, fun, friends and connectedness within our community.
All of the money you raise stays in our community: 80% of the money you raise for PATH to the Cure goes to funding the St. Mary’s Pink Ribbon Fund. The St. Mary’s Pink Ribbon Fund pays for mammograms for your friends, neighbors and family members who don’t have the money to pay for breast health screening and the other 20% will be contributed to support the development of the Paul Ambrose Trail for Health (PATH) since studies have shown there’s a link between exercise and maintaining good breast health.
