2nd Annual Richard G. Hall Memorial Golf Tournament

2nd Annual Richard G. Hall Memorial Golf Tournament

Richard G. Hall, passed away on July 11, 2010, after an intense and courageous battle with pulmonary fibrosis. He was born in Manhattan, New York and graduated from John J. High School in 1963. He graduated from Norwich University in Vermont in 1967. He was employed by Fort Carson for thirty years as a civil engineer. Richard served in the US Army from 1968-1973 and remained active in the Reserves until April 2005, retiring as a Lt. Colonel. Aside from 5-years in Germany, he resided in Colorado Springs since 1971.  In his spare time he enjoyed golfing, skiing, and driving his mustang.  He was proud of his Scottish heritage and enjoyed attending Scottish festivals and belonging to clan Donnachaidh/Robertson. After retiring Richard and his wife, Sandy, were fortunate enough to travel around the world.

The Hall family is committed to helping spread awareness and helping fund the research to find a cure for this terrible and relentlessly progressive disease.  It is our hope that future generations do not have to endure the loss of a loved one to Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis.  We plan to host the Richard G. Hall Memorial Golf Tournament every July.  Please join us on Saturday, July 14, 2012 for the Second Annual Richard G. Hall Memorial Golf Tournament.
