The Quincy Humane Society was formed on July 20, 1880 and is one of the oldest continually operating humane organizations in the US. We operate a high volume, high quality, low cost spay and neuter program. Volunteers are a core part of our program and we offer orientations once a month. Humane education is offered through our summer camps, birthday parties, speaker appearances, tours and others by request. Our state approved humane investigator follows up on reports of animal abuse and neglect. Quincy Humane Society is home to the area's premier community off leash dog park.
