WELCOME to the Raccoon Valley Animal Sanctuary & Rescue
a proud member of the Animal Relief Coalition
We are glad you have decided to join one of our missions to help save lives!
RVAS has recently became a member of the Animal Relief Coalition, a community of state licensed animal welfare organizations dedicated to working together to save lives directly affected by natural disasters.
The focus of this community is to network resources so that communities that experience natural disasters have a support system to help pet owners, their animal companions, and the shelters and rescues that become directly impacted by such disasters. By working together, we can assist each other lessening saving more lives!
The immediate need are those that are no longer on the front page news; the Missouri Flood Victims. Their needs are immediate; food, medical supplies, foster homes, transports. Shelters and Rescues are working endless hours to keep pets who have homes in their homes, by offering assistance to those pet owners who have lost everything due to the flood waters.
We hope you will join us in our efforts by offering your individual support, your professional services or both.
Here's How YOU Can Help!
Funding is needed to purchase medical supplies, food and transport animals to temporary foster homes until their pet owner can get back on their feet. The best way to begin is to visit the webpages dedicated to the Animal Relief Coalition (ARC) Missouri River Flood Project. There you will find many ways you can help including online support.
