2012 Team Sjögren's Goes TURKEY!

On or near Thanksgiving Day across American many people will be participating in their community Turkey Trots events. This year we encourage you to participate in your community Turkey Trot as member of Team Sjögren's.  You can find out if there is a Turkey Trot near you by visiting www.active.com  enter your state and type in Turkey under keyword search or call the SSF office where Ben Basloe will try to find one for you!  You can also check with your local newspaper about a local Turkey Trot too!

While on this webpage you will begin by clicking on Join Now and create your own personal Team Sjogren's fundraising page that you can send to your friends to invite them to join you at your local Turkey Trot and/or support your efforts to make a difference by making a donation!   For just a $35 donation, the SSF will mail you a Team Sjögren's cotton T-shirt to wear on race day. Your family and friends can also register and donate or raise $35 and receive T-shirts to wear as well. Then encourage your teammates to set up fundraising webpages to help spread the word about Sjogren's!

Be sure to contact Ben Basloe at 1-800-475-6473 ext 207 by November 19th in order to get you your T-shirt in time for Thanksgiving or earlier depending on the date of your race!  And if you don't have a local race - just consider asking family and friends to join you for a morning walk on Thanksgiving in your neighborhood or local park while wearing your Team Sjögren's T-shirts! 

What a great way to start your day of giving thanks - by walking or running with others in your area, increasing awareness for Sjögren's and helping raise crucial funds for Sjögren's research.
