For many years, million of people in thousands of cities and towns have united in their efforts to support their favorite charity through community events from selling lemonade to walks. These events serve two very important purposes: to raise awareness and money.
The Faces of Miracles campaign is our way of raising awareness of Sturge-Weber Syndrome and the vital financial support we need to continue our mission. Faces of Miracles brings awareness through the creation of a calendar filled with twelve miracle stories and pictures. Calendars tell us what day it is. The Faces of Miracles calendar tells us every day there are people who need our love and support. It also reminds us that through generosity that there can be day - a day in the near future - when Sturge-Weber Syndrome will be cured.
The Faces of Miracle campaign works in two ways. The first is by your gathering of contributions to be one of our 12 miracle stories by creating a FirstGiving page. Our top 12 fund raisers will help us bring awareness to Sturge-Weber Syndrome through the sharing of your story - your challenges and love. The second is through the sale and sharing of Faces of Miracles calendars to bring a daily reminder to all of our many needs. Donors on your page with gifts of $25 or more will receive a free calendar. Of course calendars will be available for purchase on the SWF Marketplace for $15.00
