Sassy Nowicki crossed the Rainbow Bridge on April 28, 2009. Sassy was one of the dogs that inspired the founding of The Grey Muzzle Organization. Sassy was a rescue dog who was almost shot (literally) because her owner was moving and couldn't afford a vet. Barry and I took Sassy in and treated her severe allergies and arthritis, with help from OldDog Haven. She lived happily with us for almost 2 years, and loved being part of a pack and a family, after being left outside alone because she smelled. You can read more about her here: www.greymuzzle.org/howyouhelp.
This portrait really shows her sweet soul; it was taken by Laurence Lynn Photography in Raleigh, NC.
This fundraising page lets you donate in honor of Sassy. Thank you. She was a wonderful dog.
Donating through this website is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to support my fundraising efforts.
Many thanks for your support !
