This year's University of Richmond “Trick or Treat Street” (TOTS) will take place on October 18, 2008. This event is organized by the InterFraternity and Panhellenic Councils. Our event provides a fun and safe Halloween experience for young children in the Richmond community and the proceeds from this event will also help a child in need.
This year, TOTS is partnering with COTA (Children’s Organ Transplant Association) to help raise money for a 3 year old boy named Cole who is in need of a liver transplant. COTA is a nonprofit with the purpose to assist patients and families with fundraising to meet transplant-related expenses. If you would like to find out more about Cole and COTA, please go to http://cotaforcoleh.com/.
From Cole's Mom:
I am writing to say how excited and thankful Cole and I are that the University of Richmond Intrafraternity Council has chosen the Children’s Organ Transplant Association: Cole Hafer Campaign to be the beneficiary of the 2008 Trick or Treat Street! Words cannot explain how touched we are by this honor and kindness.
Very Fondly,
Lynn Hafer
