Support Team Life Without Lupus and fight against lupus in these world-class athletic events! Team Life Without Lupus runners and walkers will raise funds for support services, outreach efforts and research programs in Southern California.
Lupus LA promotes lupus awareness and education, funds novel research and works with people with lupus and their families to better manage their disease and enhance their quality of life.
Lupus LA's programs include: pediatric support groups to help children and parents learn how to cope with the challenges of living with lupus; monthly adult support groups in English and Spanish; patient education; peer support; referrals to medical specialists; assistance navigating the entitlement and benefits process; emergency grants that enable families affected by lupus to purchase life-saving medication and pay overdue bills; and enrichment grants for children allowing families with limited financial resources to provide activities such as after-school lessons in art, music and swimming.
The S.L.E. Lupus Foundation/Lupus LA is a 501(c)3 charity.
All donations to Team Life Without Lupus are 100% tax deductible.
