We invite you to join us in the inaugural Tom Skram Memorial Fun Run, supported by the LeMars Chamber of Commerce, the City of LeMars YMCA and Team TOOT.

This family-friendly event will raise money and awareness for the fight against pancreatic cancer, the disease that took Tom Skram’s life in 2003. 

We’re looking for competitive runners and leisure walkers alike. All proceeds from registration fees and donations will go to support the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network (PanCAN) and Floyd Valley Hospital ’s Oncology Department.  We hope to see you there!

WHEN:  Saturday, June 14, 2008, starting at 7:30 am (arrive by at least 7:15) Parking available in the student lot near the old junior high

ROUTE: 5k (3.1mi) loop route starting and ending at Gehlen Catholic School  -

CHECK –IN:   Friday, June 13 at Cleveland Park , 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Saturday June 14 at Gehlen Catholic, 6:45 – 7:15 a.m.

FEES: Adults: $15 until June 7; $20: June 8 – 12; $25 June 13-14; 

Kids under 10:  $7

A ll participants and volunteers will receive an official event t-shirt.(Shirts not guaranteed for  registration on June 13 or 14)     

PRIZES: Top Male and Female finishers will receive a GARMIN FORERUNNER 305

All participants and volunteers will be eligible for door prizes
