United Way of Rhode Island's mission is to mobilize the caring power of the Rhode Island community to improve the lives of people in need. For more than 80 years, United Way of Rhode Island has been bringing people and organizations together for one simple reason: help people change the course of their lives towards a better, brighter future. People want to take care of themselves and their families, and we know there are a few basic things that help make this possible.This is why we are focusing on Education, Income, Housing and Safety Net.

YOUNG LEADERS CIRCLE
United Way of Rhode Island’s Young Leaders Circle (YLC) was created to actively engage young professionals in improving the lives of people in need. By reaching out to individuals in their 20’s, 30’s, and 40’s, YLC’s goal is to raise awareness of United Way of Rhode Island's efforts and bring members together in a meaningful way. YLC makes in impact in the community with volunteering and fundraisers.  YLC also assists their members by offering professional growth and networking opportunities and having fun! YLC is led by a dedicated volunteer Steering Committee with support from United Way of Rhode Island staff team.
