What is DINNER-IN-THE-PARK? For more than 30 years, thousands of community volunteers have come together every Thanksgiving and Christmas to feed homeless men, women and children at Union Station Homeless Services’ Dinner-in-the-Park. We encourage all who are hungry to come eat, and all who are able to help to donate their money, time or food items to this valuable holiday outreach program. HOW CAN I BE PART OF THE SOLUTION? It’s easy! Just follow these simple steps to make a real difference this holiday season! 1. Create your own pledge-a-thon fundraising page 2. Set a fundraising goal 3. Tell your friends, family, coworkers and classmates that you are part of the solution to ending homelessness in your community 4. Ask them to support your pledge-a-thon.
