Welcome to the World Craniofacial Foundation's Fundraising Page for Geraint Rees & Friends, who are running the Snowdonia Marathon in memory of Catrin Rees.

Jo and Geraint Rees' daughter, Catrin, passed away in early 2007 - she was only 1 year old and diagnosed with Sagittal Synostosis, a craniofacial abnormality in which the sagittal suture fuses before the brain has a chance to grow.  This condition can increase blood pressure in the brain, decrease blood flow to other areas in the brain, cause learning disabilities, and be fatal if other sutures are closed or there are other medical conditions.

In Catrin's memory, Geraint and friends are running in the Snowdonia Marathon on October 25 to raise funds through sponsorships for WCF.

Your contribution will help end the suffering of hundreds of thousands of children around the world with craniofacial anomalies and severe head and face trauma. Gifts to WCF provide for craniofacial medical treatment and its secondary costs, resources for families, and continuing education and surgical training for physicians around the world - all of which save the lives of children.

We hope you will sponsor Geraint as he runs for Catrin in his first marathon.  And it will literally be an uphill battle.  The Snowdonia is up the largest mountain range in Wales!
