Westroads Mall, Second Floor near Dicks Sporting Goods
Over the years this event has raised over $150,000 for the adult recreation therapy programs at the University of Nebraska Medical Center Munroe-Meyer Institute, but we're not done yet.
For more than 25 years, Munroe-Meyer Institute's recreation therapy department has provided opportunities for both community and center-based recreation in a safe, supervised setting. In addition, the programs allow for much-needed respite for families and caregivers of those with developmental disabilities.
"The receation program at Munroe Meyer is a lot of fun. It helps fill a real need in Benjamin's life. He looks forward to the Evening Program and the Wheel club throughout the year. Fun activities for adults with disabilities are very hard to find in this area and this program fills that void."
Deb Herink, Benjamin's mother
