About Brain Tumors
Each day in the United States, more than 540 people are diagnosed with a primary or metastatic brain tumor – more than 200,000 annually. Whether malignant or benign, brain tumors have a high degree of lethality and inescapable traumatic impact on patients, survivors and family members. Despite focused research efforts, there are still no known causes of the disease, and treatment options for patients remain limited.
