UPDATE:  Timmy qualified for the ABS National Championship by tying for 4th out of 18 in the ABS Regional Championship in Provo UT on 1/17/09.  The ABS National Championship will be held at the Spot Bouldering Gym on February 13-15 in Timmy's home town, Boulder CO.

Who: I'm Timmy Dolan and I'm 9 years old.  I'm on Team ABC, a competitive climbing team in Boulder, Colorado.  I want to raise money for health clinics in Nepal for the Sherpas.  I want to help them because they are less fortunate than I am.  When they get hurt badly or very sick they cannot afford health clinics and hospitals are too far away.  This money will help pay for the health clinics. 
I want to do this because it involves climbing and I'm part of the climbing community.   It is going to be fun raising money at the regional championships.  It is going to make me feel GREAT because I helped somebody else.

Timmy and Team ABC are going to the ABS (American Bouldering Series) Regional Championships in Provo UT on January 17th.  Timmy's goal is to qualify for the ABS National Championship in Boulder on February 13-15, 2009.

 Purpose: Rasuwa District Healthcare: Nepal: Thulo Syabru is a remote village in the Langtang area, within the Rasuwa District of Nepal. It is reachable only on foot. The nearest healthcare is three hours away. This clinic now serves this village and several nearby villages. Our goal is to raise funds so this clinic can stay in operation.  The Global Mountain Fund ( www.mountainfund.org ) is the charitable organization raising funds to support the health clinic.
