This year marks A.D.O.P.T.'s 16th Annual “Makin’ Strides for Strays” walkathon to be held on Sunday May 3rd. Since opening on Oct. 31, 1989, A.D.O.P.T. has found homes for over 23,000 wonderful animals. It takes a lot of hard work on the part of our generous volunteers to find homes for more than 1,500 kittens, cats, puppies, and dogs every year.
A.D.O.P.T. provides the best care possible for all animals entering the program, including many animals with special needs, who would never have a chance for rehabilitation and adoption at most other shelters. All funds raised from this year's walk will be used to continue to provide such superior care for our animals.
A.D.O.P.T. could not help so many animals, including those most in need, without all the hard work of the volunteers and generous donations of those who support us. We sincerely appreciate your support of this important fundraiser benefiting the homeless animals of A.D.O.P.T.
