Help us support delegates who would like to visit our brothers and sisters in El Salvador, but may not have the funds to do so.

Our delegation this year will be from July 16th to July 23rd.  One of the main goals of this year's delegation is to find a sister church to partner with in El Salvador.  Equipo El Salvador believes that it is our job as Christians to accompany the church in El Salvador with more than just money, but with prayers, love, and friendship.  Activities will also include learning the history of El Salvador, visiting Lutheran churches in the city and in rural areas, volunteering at Casa Esperanza (Hope House) - a day shelter in San Salvador that provides meals and basic medical care to the poorest of the poor, and much more.

The cost of the trip is $575 plus airfare.  Airfare is averaging around $700.  Our fundraising goal for each person will be a maximum of $1,200.  All funds donated will go to the general fund in the case that the individual is unable to go.  Equipo El Salvador and the individual delegates will present a plan to Advent's Council on what will be done to support the work of the Lutheran Church in El Salvador with any funds raised over the $1,200.
