Registration is required and space is limited!

Registration ($40 per team) will begin in June and is limited to 80 two-person teams who will fish at 8 ponds across Kent and Sussex Counties.  Register by calling 302-422-2255. Please do not set up your fundraising page until you have registered and received your materials.

Event Schedule

7:00am: Check-in at assigned pond and begin fishing

1:00pm: Tournament ends: final weigh-in

2:00pm: Celebration and awards ceremony at Bicentennial Park in Milford

Cash prizes will be awarded for the largest catch among all participants and among children under 13. About Autism and Autism Delaware

Autism is a developmental disability primarily affecting the areas of the brain governing social and communicative function. In 1995, autism was found in 1 in 2,500 births, but today that number has risen to 1 in 150. Your support will strengthen our work in providing individuals and families affected by autism with support, education, and advocacy services such as:

  • Sponsorship of speakers and other educational events on autism or disability-related issues
  • A physician's awareness campaign to encourage screening and early intervention
  • Productive Opportunities for Work & Recreation (POW&R)- our self-directed support service for adults with autism
  • Mom's and Dad's Nights Out
  • Parent support groups
  • Family social events such as skating parties and hayrides
  • A quarterly newsletter to 1,300 households/organizations

Every week, Autism Delaware hears from families who have encountered a new challenge: a diagnosis, a challenging behavior, questions about the latest treatment in the news, or not knowing how to plan for their child's care when they are no longer able to. In order to operate a professional organization that can provide these families with the information and services they need, we rely on the generosity of our donors and the Delaware community.

Thank you for your support.
