Mall Haul 2010

Mall Haul 2010 partners students with disabilities and their typical peers together for a fun, supervised back-to-school shopping experience. 

Many students with disabilities have never had the opportunity to participate in that great American rite of passage ~ back-to-school shopping with friends at the mall, something as simple and easy as hanging out with friends.

Mall Haul 2010 will service students with disabilities and typical students together by:

·         Creating friendships between typical students and students with disabilities
·         Helping to reduce social isolation for students with disabilities
·         Helping to end harassment and stereotyping of students with disabilities
·        Helping typical students gain a greater knowledge of the similarities among themselves and a student with disabilities
·         Creating opportunities for all participants to apply money and math skills
·        Creating opportunities for students with disabilities to succeed independently in a public environment in a fun, positive way

The Anna Foundation For Inclusive Education is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to the enhancement of the educational experience of students with developmental delays participating in inclusive education.

The Anna Foundation For Inclusive Education provides educational enhancements in many ways, including:
  • Literacy Skills Reinforcement to enhance the inclusive education experience
  • The Health, Hygiene and Safety Initiative to ensure opportunities in integrated society
  • Professional development to enhance teachers' effectiveness in the inclusive education environment
