AIDS Walk of Oklahoma City, Inc. is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization that raises awareness and funds for the treatment and prevention of HIV/AIDS in the greater Oklahoma City community.
Since 1998, we have distributed more than $635,000 to help fund local programs focusing on HIV prevention, education, and direct services to individuals and families living with HIV/AIDS.
Every dollar you contribute (minus expenses) goes directly to providing support for a disease that plagues the world and demands social action in prevention, advocacy, and services. We keep our costs to the bare minimum and therefore rely on your support for success. Please tell your friends, your co-workers, and family members to come support all those affected by this terrible disease.
The ten nonprofit service organizations that benefited from grants received from the AIDS Walk of Oklahoma City in 2011 include: The Winds House ASP, Latino Community Development Agency, Legal Aid of Oklahoma, Other Options, Planned Parenthood of Central Oklahoma, Red Rock Behavioral, Northern Lights, Be The Change, Expressions Community Center and RAIN-Oklahoma.
