The annual 2009 AIDS Walk  Rhode Island, Sunday, October 25, 2009, at Roger Williams National Memorial 282 North Main Street Providence will attract more than 1,000 walkers and enhance AIDS awareness efforts while raising money for AIDS Project Rhode Island, a division of Family Service of Rhode Island. Proceeds from AIDS Walk Rhode Island will enable us to continue providing critical services to people with HIV/AIDS and their families.

While there is increasing hope for those with HIV/AIDS, there is still no cure. The new drug regimens work for many, but there are still people for whom the medical advances are inappropriate, out of reach, or simply not enough.
