As you may know Ashley was born with a rare disorder called Angelman Syndrome. This syndrome has affected everyone in Ashley's life in some form or another. Ashley struggles everyday to do the simple things in life that come naturally to you and I, such as walking, talking,  and basic self help skills (None of which she can do on her own yet). Even through all of her difficutlies Ashley is a trooper and she always keeps going. She is a true inspiration to those around her and lightens up your day with her smile.
