Alpine Children's Charity (ACC) was formed in 2004 by a group of cousins, aged 9 to 19, in an effort to have kids help kids. Since that time, over twenty new members have joined the Junior Board. Our mission is to: *Raise money for research and promote public awareness of various childhood diseases; and *Encourage kids to help other kids, thereby fostering a lifetime commitment to service in the young people involved. Over $1,000,000 has been raised in six successful skiathons and four golf events. A big thanks to all our supporters! Cruisin' for Kids VII will be held on Friday, March 25, 2011, in Vail, Colorado. Once again participants will be skiing for solutions and boarding for breakthroughs to get to the finish line – CURES! Participants will get pledges for their day of skiing or boarding to benefit the 2011 Benefitting Charities: Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, The Children's Heart Foundation, Bear Necessities Pediatric Cancer Foundation and Red Ribbon Project.
