HIV/AIDS is not a disease that infects just one small group of people.  It is a human disease that infects the lives of many, regardless of race, gender, ethnicity, age or even religious affiliation.  It is a disease that can infect anyone; yet, it is also a disease that is 100% preventable if armed with the proper knowledge and understanding.

By joining us on April 6, 2008, we can help combat the fear and denial that are typically associated with this horrible disease.  Even if doing so changes just one person's thinking, we have made a difference.  Whether you join in the Walk itself of simply make a contribution, your participation will help AOC fund vital outreach, prevention and educational programs for the community and offer basic support for the men, women and children that AOC serves with HIV/AIDS.
