Thank you for visiting my fundraising page!
Baxter and I will be walking in the 17th annual NHSPCA Pawswalk 2009 to raise money to help dogs like Baxter, who was believed to be once neglected and abused. I remember the day I walked into the NHSPCA and saw the little guy so timid in his cage. Who knew he would be such a love! He is a lot of work and has some quirks due to his history and many unknowns, but brings joy to everyone who meets him. And I thank the NHSPCA for taking him in, caring for him and loving him until the day I adppted him.
The NHSPCA cared for nearly 3,500 unwanted, neglected and abused animals last year. They provide food, safety, medical care, vaccinations, spay/neuter, a warm bed and a loving touch. Most importantly, they give our treasured pets a second chance at a new life and a loving home.Every dog and cat adopted from the NHSPCA has been spayed/neutered and microchipped. They are helping to control pet overpopulation and reunite lost pets with their family. They rely completely on the generosity of our community. The NHSPCA receives no financial support from any government agency or national association. Their cruelty investigators are called upon from across the state to protect helpless animals, abused by their owner. And they need our help to continue to be here for them!
Why does every dollar count?
$25 provides vaccinations for one animal
$50 provides one medical exam
$100 provides one spay/neuter surgery
$175 feeds NHSPCA dogs for a full week
$350 feeds NHSPCA cats for a full week
$500 provides food and shelter for a horse for a full month
So please, help Baxter and I reach our goal and help so many other animals like Baxter that are lonely, scared and are just waiting for someone to adopt them and give them the love and the happy home each one of these animals so deserves.
Donating through this website is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to support my fundraising efforts. Many thanks for your support -- and don't forget to forward this to anyone who you think might want to donate too!
Thanks for your support. We are looking forward to a fun filled day on Sunday. And feel free to join us for the walk! For more details on this event, please visit www.nhspca.org.
