Be a fan of excitement, chills and goodwill:
Support our human's Polar Bear Super Plunge! ...from Cabernet and Sake Wurst
Yes, I have completely lost my mind and am going to be a Super Plunger in January. That means I will be plunging into icy cold Longview Lake every hour for 24 consecutive hours - that's 24 freezing dips in the lake!!! It just goes to show you how much I want to help Special Olympics Missouri raise money for its athletes...because I wouldn't do this for just any organization - that's for sure!
For those of you willing to support me in this effort, I promise to take pictures every hour to catalog my insane-ness and share them with you afterwards.
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to donate to me, so please donate now! If you prefer to write a check, please make it out to Special Olympics Missouri and mail it to my attention at 444 West 68th Street, Kansas City, MO 64113. Many thanks for your support.
Amy Wurst (supported by her super non-plunging dogs Cabernet and Sake)
About the Polar Bear Plunge:
This "unbearable" event is a unique opportunity for individuals, businesses and organizations to support local Special Olympics athletes by jumping, diving or crawling into the sparkling, frigid waters of Missouri. Since its inception 13 years ago, 6,263 Missourians have taken the plunge in lakes across the state, raising $1,304,669. Please be a fan by making a pledge to me!
Thank you for being a fan.
