As many of you know, I was diagnosed in 2005 with a carcinoid tumor of the lung.  I was lucky in that it was found early and through surgery it was removed before it could spread further.  One of my greatest frustrations during this time of need, was the lack of research and understanding within the medical community.  Carcinoid tumors are often times misdiagnosed or not diagnosed at all, which can lead to fatal consequences.   By donating through this website, you are helping to support badly needed research and education for medical professionals and the general public.Donating through this website is simple, fast and totally secure.
