Hi Everyone,  

Thank you for coming & hearing about our 10th Anniversary Walk!  I am raising money for a walk called Memories That Move Us.  We are walking in memory of someone we loved. Our donations will help grieving children after someone in their family has died, either their mom or dad, or a brother or sister.

As part of my work at a grief center called The Children's Room, I'm in a support group called Sparkling Hearts. We meet every other week with a big group of children, teens and parents who are all grieving a similar loss. Through talking circles, artwork, physical expression, and healing rituals, children can be together and feel support and acceptance. Being with these children as they heal and help each other is inspiring. 

I'm walking in memory of my dear friend Marcela, who died from pancreatic cancer. I'm also walking in memory of Frank Favaloro, and in memory of our friend James Farrell who died from a heart attack. I believe Marcela would support how children express their feelings through artwork and play at The Children's Room. Thank you for donating anything you can!
