You can make a difference for communities impacted by AIDS
While an entire generation of children is growing up orphaned, alone, and in desperate need, the world looks away. But Christian college students are taking notice and mobilizing together to save a generation through a movement called Acting on AIDS.
You have the freedom to take ownership of this movement and determine how you and your campus will help turn the tide against HIV/AIDS. Your efforts will make a difference. You can change the world by raising awareness within your personal network, campus, and community.
Through your personal fundraising Web page, you can also invite family, friends, and peers to support your activities and to help communities most impacted by AIDS with a tax-deductible donation. These funds will be used by World Vision to meet unmet needs in communities throughout Africa. You can also raise resources for specific needs of your choosing within the Acting on AIDS gift catalog.
Creating your web page is easy! Here are some tips:
- Place your own photo on the page-or choose one of the photos provided.
- Feel free to edit and personalize the information on your Web page, letting your supporters know why you are walking on behalf of orphans.
- For questions or assistance, information about Acting on AIDS, or to order a copy of Acting on AIDS' 2005-06 Gift Catalog, e-mail leadership@actingonaids.org or call 1-888-876-2004.
