Thank you for being a part of The Arc of Essex County’s 14th Annual Building Tomorrows 5k Run/ 2 Mile Walk!  If you are participating and want to set up a fundraising page – just click on the Join Now button above.  Pages can be set up for individuals or teams. You can customize the text and photo on your page to tell everyone about yourself and why you are participating.  Send your page out to your friends, family, colleagues – anyone you think will help you reach your fundraising goal. If you are sponsoring a participant, input their name in box at the top to Find them. Also, please consider joining us at the Run for a fun filled morning! You can run, walk, volunteer or stop by to cheer everyone on. There will be food, a DJ and t-shirts for all participants.  Registration starts at 8:15 am and the race starts at 10:00 am.  You can visit The Arc’s website to sign up for the run, see a course map and get directions.

Can’t be there on April 14th but still want to raise money for The Arc?  Become a Virtual Runner or Walker!  Create your FirstGiving fundraising page -  when you email it to your friends, family and coworkers, explain to them that you are unable to be at the event but you will commit to run or walk on another date.

By collecting and/or making donations, you will be helping over 1300 individuals with developmental disabilities in 45 distinct programs in and around Essex County, NJ. Through our quality services and dedication, we assist these individuals to live fuller, more independent lives. Our goal is to "Build Tomorrows" for the individuals we serve so they may realize individual goals and to learn, work, play, and coexist with dignity and full partnership in the community.
