The Arc of Minnesota and its Local and Regional Chapters Have Made a Difference! Throughout the past six decades, virtually every right and opportunity made available to persons with developmental disabilities is due to Minnesota Chapters of The Arc. Examples include: the right to education; closing of state institutions; creation of community residential services and family support services; and the development of employment and day training and habilitation services.

The Arc Chapters of Minnesota create opportunities for people with disabilities in their communities. We make and change policy, develop cutting-edge training programs, and create social transformation by providing: advocacy services, educational programs, public policy development, housing access coordination, information and referral, and a Statewide Resource Center. We are affiliated with The Arc of the United States, the nation's leading advocate for people with developmental disabilities. Today, 1 of every 10 Americans has a family member with disabilities.
